Jamie and Lee-Anne were considering their options of buying a new property versus renovating or extending.
They liked the idea of staying put due their kids schooling, but needed much more space. Together we engaged an architect to draw up a plan of what was possible.
The home had three very small bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a small study, in addition to the kitchen and living area. On the ground floor, one bedroom made way to become a walk in robe, the other changed into a study. The bathroom was made larger to include the near unusably small ensuite. The study walls were removed to make way for a feature timber staircase.
Upstairs we added three queen size bedrooms, one with walk in robe, a rumpus room and a large balcony to accept the northern sun on those warm afternoons.
